My name is Erica Renaud.
My Public Passions:
“But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.” -Jesus
In a world of “Go Big or Go Home!” I want to challenge Christians to “Go Home and Go Small.” While the rest of the world is doing everything they can to be seen, Christians should pursue the things that are unseen. It is time for us to be a people who are faithful in the small, mundane and unseen places of prayer. I believe God wants to meet us, not in the big and grand, but the small and humble areas of life.
My Private Passions:
I love the presence of God. I love when I hear His words spoken to my soul. I love worship and prayer gatherings. To me, nothing is more beautiful or satisfying than God’s people gathering in His presence to seek Him, worship Him and pray humbly together.
My family is my joy and delight. I’ve been a wife to my grounded, musically gifted and super theologically minded husband for over 10 years and I am mother to 5.
Though I’ve been homeschooling for over 5 years, I’m still experimenting with it.
We live along-side my parents, as a household of 9 as we embark on a multi-generational journey.
I take to planning like most people take to coffee.
Summer is not complete without camping, hiking, large bodies of water, and dirty nails and feet at the end of the day.
What I do and what you can do:
If you take no other action from reading my work, I implore you to go and pray- satisfy yourself in Him who has made you and holds the keys to true life, joy and fulfillment.
